Scrollgouges
We are making two different sets of scrollgouges. Set A and B. Developed in ongoing collaboration with violin building schools in Germany and Switzerland since the early 1980s.
The gouges are forged from round bar in high quality steel SS2258 (100cr6) and hardened/tempered to 65HRC.
The handles are turned from locally grown Ash or Elm, depending on availability.

You can order the gouges individually, as a set or put together your own set by combining gouges from both sets A and B.
